Our mission is providing families, children and staff a learning community in which all participants develop through a spiral dance of observation, inquiry, reflection and documentation. We create an intentional environment where each participant is respected as a responsible contributing member in our community. We see the participants as co-researchers, co-learners and collaborators in the building of our community.

Tours and Information For Prospective Parents

We currently enroll off of a waitlist. To get on the waitlist you must attend a tour. To attend an open house you will need to RSVP (email here to RSVP). You will receive a conformation email for the tour. We limit tours to five families at a time. If the session is full, you will be offered the following available tour date. Because children are in care at the time of the tours, we ask that children be left at home. While touring during the business day, families will observe rooms from the hall and have the opportunity to enter classrooms when the children are not present.

    When you arrive for your tour:
  • North (Tours are Wednesdays at 10am): please enter the cedar fenced play area that has the playhouse. It is closest to the parking entrance off NE Rosa Parks Way.
  • Irvington (Tours are Tuesdays at 3pm): Enter Growing Seeds from the NE Graham Entrance

Waitlist Information

When adding a family to the waitlist we file the form according to your child's birthday or expected DOB and in order by date we received the form, including the $20 waitlist fee.

Every September when our oldest students graduate we have a shift between all of the classrooms. This is often when we offer enrollment to families on the waitlist. Rarely are there opportunities for enrollment throughout other times of the year.
