Creating a foundation for children to develop a love of learning through self discovery, imagination, and creativity. Within our supportive and safe environment, learning is facilitated by fostering respect for oneself, each other and the environment.
We are open for care from 7am to 6pm Monday-Friday.
We offer full day care 2, 3, 4 or 5 days a week.
We provide food for children that are eating table-food. Parents of infants provide all cereal and jarred baby food. We provide lunch and two healthy snacks daily. We are committed to providing organic and locally-sourced food wherever possible. (this includes fruits, vegetables and milk.)
A large component of our program is learning about life cycles by giving children hands-on experiences with living things. Every room has fish tanks that are low and accessable to children for their viewing and learning enjoyment.
We also grow many plants and do seedlings inside during spring and transplant them to exterior beds where we tend to our gardens: watering, weeding and harvesting the fruits and vegetables.
We allow children daily opportunities to engage in the scientific method: hypothesizing, experimenting, observing and drawing conclusions from those experiments. Some examples may be: "What happens when we leave a piece of cheese or an orange slice in a bowl to sit for a week?" "What happens when you mix vinegar with baking soda or flour or oatmeal?" "What do those mixtures taste like?" "What happens when you add red water to blue water?" "What sinks or floats in a bucket of water?" "What is ice, steam, evaporation & absorption?"
Each of our North Location classrooms includes a full-time Spanish Speaker. This looks, feels and sounds different in each room depending on the students' needs and teachers' abilities. At times we reserve the right to make adaptations to the Spanish program when necessary due to staffing or classroom needs
There is a 60-day withdrawal notice required for all enrolled students. We will attempt to fill all spots as soon as notice is given if possible
See our rates section for more details.
